Take part in our creative writing competition on the theme of memories of cinema-going.
The competition is open to all, and we are happy to accept fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry. Broad interpretations of the theme are welcome, and submissions can include memories of particular films or any of a wide variety of experiences associated with watching films or going to the cinema.
Shortlisted entries will be selected for publication in a new anthology of creative writing (to be published as an ebook by Freight Books). The anthology will also include new works by commissioned writers, including Alison Miller, Kevin MacNeil, Christie Williamson, Aonghas MacNeacail and Christine De Luca.
Deadline for Submissions: Midnight on 15th November, 2017
Prize for Winning Entry: £500
For more information on the competition rules and how to submit an entry, please check the Reel to Rattling Reel Writing Competition flyer.
